My youngest daughter dragged me into her room the other night and told me she is having a miserable childhood. She claims to never be happy and will continue to have an unhappy childhood. She is 10. I smiled at her and gave her a hug and a kiss, assuring that everything will be better after some sleep. Sure enough, the next morning she was all giggles, excited about spending the night at her friend's house. What happened to the miserable child? |
