About Me: I've always enjoyed writing, so long as it's something I know about - like me. I'm a student. A mother. A sister. A homeowner. A perfectionist. I try to keep them as separate as possible, but sometimes they intertwine - which is NEVER a good thing. I love shoes. I love dancing, although I don't really know how. I love loud music, bonfires and the occasional glass of beer. I love my family. I love my life. And ever so slowly, I'm learning to love myself.

You think you know your teenage daughter until you really look into her eyes. Then it all becomes clear. You don't know this person at all. You don't know what she desires, what she is capable of, or what she will become. All you can do is try to steer her in the right direction and hope she doesn't try to go the other way; hope she doesn't take the other road; hope she isn't capable of the same things you were at that age. All you can do, is yell "Make Good Choices!" as she walks out the door, and hope she hears you. |
