About Me: I've always enjoyed writing, so long as it's something I know about - like me. I'm a student. A mother. A sister. A homeowner. A perfectionist. I try to keep them as separate as possible, but sometimes they intertwine - which is NEVER a good thing. I love shoes. I love dancing, although I don't really know how. I was never very religious. I grew up going to church most Sundays - unless, of course, it was the weekend to turn the clocks for Daylight Savings. We ALWAYS forgot and ALWAYS made it to church when everyone was leaving. As a teenager and young adult, I was aware of my faith, but didn't bother with church events. Then I met my scientific husband.
Church is no longer an issue whatsoever. We have agreed to not "brainwash" the kids - supporting them to choose a religion (or lack there of) when they are able to do so on their own.
My own faith in anything in particular has been questionable - mostly of late. I read the book, The DiVinci Code recently, which seemed to start the chaos in my head. I started to research the controversy behind Jesus, in hopes that it would sort out my thoughts. Then it dawned on me - it's not necessarily my faith in Jesus that is the question. We know he was an actual living and breathing person. I think the real question is about my faith in God. I think I've finally figured out my own conclusion. I don't know if He/She exists, but I do know one thing: When you are laying in the dark hoping that your love gets to work all in one piece - it's nice to know that he may be kept safe by a higher power than just Fate.
