Name: Crazy Bitch
Home: Portland, Oregon, United States
About Me: I've always enjoyed writing, so long as it's something I know about - like me. I'm a student. A mother. A sister. A homeowner. A perfectionist. I try to keep them as separate as possible, but sometimes they intertwine - which is NEVER a good thing. I love shoes. I love dancing, although I don't really know how. I love loud music, bonfires and the occasional glass of beer. I love my family. I love my life. And ever so slowly, I'm learning to love myself.

Our daughter asked S to take her out driving so she could practice a bit more (she has her permit.) Of course, since I've been neglecting 'ol Pepe, the battery was dead. No problem there! S jumped out, hooked up his truck and gave Pepe a jump. After disconnecting the cable and slamming the hoods shut, he climbed back in next to our daughter. They closed the garage door and were on their way.
Five minutes later later, S's cell rang.
"Uh, Dad, is the truck supposed to be running?" asks a confused teen-aged boy. (Note: The truck is parked in the garage.)
"Oh, is it still running?" laughs S.
"Uh, yeah. Should I leave it, or do you want me to shut it off."
"Ummm, you should probably shut it off," says S.
"Okay, where are the keys?"
"The truck is running, isn't it?" asks S.
"Yeah. So is it this long one hanging up here?"
"The truck is running, right?" S asks again.
"Yeah, but are the keys hanging up here by the rest of them?"
"If the truck is running," says S, "then the keys must be in it."
"Oh. Yeah. Okay."
