I've been job hunting. I haven't had to do it in so many years, that I forgot how. However, I've managed to enlist help and now my resumé KICKS ASS. How many interviews have I had? HOW MANY INTERVIEWS HAVE I HAD?????

One interview - that was so bad - I almost left before it even began. The person interviewing me had no idea she was asking illegal questions throughout the whole thing. She also wasn't game with the idea of employees advancing. Future degrees were frowned upon. She wanted someone to come in and fill her shoes, while doing everything the way she wanted it done. I so had that job. I so turned it down. I'm so still not employed.
Why doesn't anyone want me? I haven't been in the workforce for nearly ten years. Does that make me incompetent? Heck no. I'm killer at business letters. I rock at typing - 60wpm. I'm fluent in OSX and Windows speak. I can pick up almost any software program in a matter of hours. I'm professional, competent, dedicated, intelligent, and work very hard.
What's wrong with you people?
Every working parent that I know would love to be able to stay home. Yeah - until you tire of staying home and want to work again. Then you're fucked. |
