My mother always called me fickle.
I liked the sound of it.
Twenty years later, I am still ever-changing. Not just emotionally, but in every way possible. Does that make me unhappy? No, just constantly bored. In fact, I get bored so easily, I can't stick with anything. Drawing, writing, sewing, running, reading, decorating, cleaning, photography - all of it comes and goes on a whim. The way I dress changes with my mood swings: girly, flirty, dowdy, motherly, casual, hip, old, young...
When does it end? When will I be content? My husband doesn't think it is possible. Am I cursed?
Unfortunately my wardrobe is quite small, causing mood swings by itself.
Looking back on a lifetime of friendships, I never had just one best friend. Actually, I did, it just changed on a monthly basis...yep, definitely fickle.
How my husband puts up with me, I do not know, but he is the one constant in my life that I would not change. Afterall, if the foundation goes, so does the rest. |
