About Me: I've always enjoyed writing, so long as it's something I know about - like me. I'm a student. A mother. A sister. A homeowner. A perfectionist. I try to keep them as separate as possible, but sometimes they intertwine - which is NEVER a good thing. I love shoes. I love dancing, although I don't really know how. I love loud music, bonfires and the occasional glass of beer. I love my family. I love my life. And ever so slowly, I'm learning to love myself.

At 6 AM I dragged myself out of bed, made my husband's lunch and went back to bed. At 7 AM, I dragged myself out of bed, fed the dogs, made my children's lunches and sat down at the computer. It is now 10 AM. I am still in my pj's and bathrobe. I managed to make myself two cups of coffee. If I go for another, I'll be here until noon.
Quite frequently I hear that I have the ultimate life. I do. But... Since I've become a stay at home mother (actual date: February 2nd, 1998) my motivation has been stagnant. As is my ambition and imagination. This does explain why I appear unhappy to people. I am not unhappy - just bored to death. It also explains why everyone's good ideas of getting out and meeting people are neglected. My ambition is non-existent.
I am getting nowhere with this writing. I am taking a shower. |
